I appreciate this doesn't help you, but I have two MX Keys keyboards (home and work) and I have never seen either flashing its backlight. It would help if I had the space grey version of the trackpad, but I’m not about to buy one just to have a better colour match. I just don’t feel it aligns too nicely with the Magic Trackpad.
#Logitech k200 keyboard keys do not register mac
Backlit, USB-C charging, easy switching, key caps that show both windows and mac layout, function key shortcuts, nice typing experience while staying pretty quiet.

In practice, this makes no difference, as I wouldn’t ever use 4K webcam feed for videoconferencing.īack on topic, the MX keys offer a great all round keyboard package. The only limitation I have found with this set-up is that the webcam is limited to on the MBP due to the USB2.0 limit for data while also carrying the display port 1.4 alt mode video. I even selected the short-cut buttons to match the arrangement of the laptops (left button for surface laptop on the left right button for MBP on the right). This means a single button press takes me from work laptop to MPB or vice versa (including waking up a sleeping laptop) AND simultaneously switches the keyboard, mouse, speakers, mic and webcam. I have mapped the user-configurable short-cut buttons on the monitor to switch between i) USB-C and ii) DP + upstream USB3. The downstream ports on the monitor connect to my Logitech BRIO, Blue Yeti mic, Bose computer speakers and the Logitech unifying receiver for the MX keys and Master 3 mouse. The surface laptop is connected via mDP -> DP and also USB3. I have my MBP connected via USB-C (via an eGPU) that handles and piggy-backs USB data (2.0 only sadly), and charges the MBP.

The Dell u3219q (32” 4K USB-C) that I use has a decent approach to KVM (at least for two computers).
